Metal Tech announced as Meltio’s official sales partner for Australian market

Meltio, Linares, Spain, has announced that Metal Tech, headquartered in Hemmant, Queensland, Australia, is now an official sales partner and will play a key role in the distribution and support of Meltio’s metal Additive Manufacturing solutions in the Australian market.

Metal Tech provides machinery sales and service to the metal industry throughout Australia, offering technical advice, machinery solutions, customer service and solutions for businesses to help increase performance and productivity.

Meltio’s metal Additive Manufacturing technology uses the company’s wire and powder-based Laser Metal Deposition (LMD) process, a form of Directed Energy Deposition (DED). The technology can use single wire, dual wire or wire and powder materials, and currently supports steel, titanium and Inconel alloys.

Metal Tech will focus on building a supportive ecosystem for Meltio’s technology in the Australian territory partnering and driving business opportunities alongside technology centres, tooling machine companies, robotic integrators, academia, and industry.
