France Additive, based in Nanterre, France, has reported on its activities during 3D Print Lyon 2026, held June 2–4 in Lyon, France. The French Additive Manufacturing association hosted a series of networking and industry-focused activities during the event.

On June 2, France Additive organised a networking lunch for its Club of Executives, bringing together industry decision-makers to discuss developments and priorities within the Additive Manufacturing sector. A second reception later that day brought together France Additive members and exhibitors at the event.

On June 3, the association hosted a panel discussion entitled ‘State of the French Market and Outlook for 2026’. Industry representatives discussed current market conditions for Additive Manufacturing in France, as well as emerging trends and potential opportunities.

France Additive also organised a series of guided tours focusing on the application of Additive Manufacturing across four industrial sectors. An aerospace tour featured Politechno, AddUp, Intamsys and Linde, while a medical-focused tour included AddUp, Decip 3D & Laser, EOS, 3DPmolds and Sunpe Prototype.

The automotive tour featured 3D Newshape, Erpro Group, BigRep, Flow Science Mediterranea and Reptis. A final tour focused on defence applications and included HP, Kreos, Ampere Alloys and Erpro Group.

Throughout 3D Print Lyon 2026, France Additive also operated its Business Connect service, providing matchmaking support intended to connect visitors with relevant exhibitors and potential partners.

The programme formed part of France Additive’s wider activities to support collaboration and knowledge exchange within the French Additive Manufacturing industry.
