Based on the success of its collaboration with HP, INDO-MIM, headquartered in Bengaluru, India, has purchased five additional HP Metal Jet S100 Additive Manufacturing machines. The additional capacity will enable the company to rapidly expand its metal Binder Jetting (BJT) services and support its in-house powder development capabilities.

INDO-MIM initially partnered with HP in late 2023, purchasing three Metal Jet S100s. In April 2024, the company officially opened its Additive Manufacturing production cell, supported by the HP metal Additive Manufacturing machines.

The Metal Jet S100 has an effective build volume of 430 x 309 x 140 mm and meets MPIF standards for stainless steel with HP Metal Jet SS 316L and HP Metal Jet SS 17-4PH materials. The HP Metal Jet workflow includes a powder management station, the Metal Jet S100 AM machine, a curing station and a powder removal station.

INDO-MIM is the world’s largest Metal Injection Moulding (MIM) company, with over 3,000 employees producing over 150 million MIM parts annually.
