Aibuild, based in London, UK, has announced the launch of Aibuild 2.0. The latest version of the software platform introduces enhanced capabilities, new branding, and strategic partnerships designed to accelerate innovation in the large-format Additive Manufacturing industry.

Aibuild integrates the entire manufacturing process, from slicing and optimisation to real-time control and monitoring, within a single AI-powered cloud platform. Already in use by manufacturers such as Ford, Boeing and Nikon, Aibuild platform delivers fully automated toolpath generation for a wide range of industrial Additive Manufacturing technologies, including polymer extrusion, metal Directed Energy Deposition (DED), Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM), cold spray, concrete, and paste extrusion, on both robotic and gantry machines.

Nurah Al-Haj-Mustafa, AM Engineer at Ford, stated, “This update takes the software to a new level by combining technical expertise with user-friendliness, making the advanced tool accessible to everyone.”

Features of the new release include:

  • Full automation: Every operation on the platform is traceable and reusable, allowing users to define manufacturing strategies once and generate ready-to-manufacture toolpaths with a single click
  • AI: Aibuild’s built-in AI assistant autonomously recommends and performs actions, making Additive Manufacturing accessible to engineers of all experience levels
  • Integration: The software integrates with a growing network of AM hardware and materials, providing a unified platform for the entire manufacturing process and eliminating the need for trial and error
  • Flexibility: An open platform architecture and visual programming interface allow the creation of a variety of advanced toolpaths
  • Access anywhere: Aibuild’s secure, ISO 27001-certified cloud infrastructure eliminates the need for installations, upgrades, or file management, making AM workflows accessible from any device and location

Daghan Cam, co-founder and CEO at Aibuild said, “With this update, we are not only enhancing the software’s capabilities but also reinforcing our commitment to continue pushing the boundaries of Additive Manufacturing in collaboration with our partners and customers. The future of Additive Manufacturing with AI-powered software is very exciting.”

Michail Desyllas, co-founder and COO at Aibuild added, “The new Aibuild 2.0 software is a significant achievement for the Additive Manufacturing industry. I am immensely proud of the team at Aibuild, whose dedication to innovation created a platform that combines unmatched capabilities and flexibility with user-friendly design.”

Aibuld 2.0 will premier on booth 2661 at Rapid + TCT in Los Angeles, California, USA, from June 25-27. .
