Vicenza Symposium announces 2027 event dates

The second edition of The Vicenza Symposium has been announced for August 31–September 2, 2027. The 2027 edition of the international technical and scientific symposium dedicated to the high-tech and luxury jewellery industry will take place ahead of the September edition of Vicenzaoro, the Italian Exhibition Group’s international jewellery, goldsmithing and watchmaking show, and T.Gold, the international fair dedicated to goldsmithing machinery and the most innovative gold and jewellery technologies. The Vicenza Symposium aims to bring together professionals, researchers and companies from around the globe in Vicenza.
Building on the success of the inaugural event in 2025, which welcomed professionals, researchers, and companies from over 15 countries, the second edition of The Vicenza Symposium will offer three days of technical and scientific presentations.

Researchers and industry professionals who have conducted original work on a new alloy, process, technology or innovative solution are invited to submit a presentation proposal. All proposals are assessed by an International Scientific Committee, with members including Damiano Zito, Chairman and CEO of Progold SpA; Massimo Poliero, President and CEO of Legor Group; and Eddie Bell, Honorary President.
“The Vicenza Symposium is now an internationally recognised event for those working in jewellery and fashion accessories,” said Damiano Zito, President of The Vicenza Symposium. “It is one of the few settings in which companies, research centres and young talents come together to share data and expertise. It is a place of practical work, where technology, expertise and craftsmanship come together to meaningfully contribute to the definition of sector standards.”

Matteo Farsura, Global Exhibition Manager of IEG’s Jewellery & Fashion division, shared, “The Vicenza Symposium shows what can be achieved when companies, research institutions, associations and organisers collaborate with a shared vision. This model is based on collaboration and the ability to forge connections between expertise, technologies and markets, strengthening the international competitiveness of the entire jewellery and fashion accessories supply chain while promoting an ecosystem of excellence and innovation, centred in Vicenza.”
The deadline for submitting presentation proposals is September 14, 2026, and those interested in applying can do so here.
