MILAM 2027 announces full conference agenda

The agenda for the 11th Annual Military Additive Manufacturing (MILAM) Summit & Technology Showcase, taking place January 26 – 27, 2027, in Tampa, Florida, USA, has been released. The 2027 agenda features over 90 speakers representing military and government leadership, global military representatives, innovative industry players, and leading academic partners shaping the future of AM.

The event will include over twenty panels, keynotes, and fireside chats exploring the integration of Additive Manufacturing technologies across the Joint Force and over fifteen tech talks in the Tech Talk Arena, offering case studies and emerging innovation updates running simultaneously with the Main Conference sessions, giving attendees even more expert content to choose from.
Two specialised Workshop Day Tracks featuring hands-on learning, in-depth technical sessions, and actionable insights:
Metal AM Innovation Across Defense & Aerospace Track:
- Utilising metal AM to create complex, lightweight, and high-strength components at the tactical edge
- Leading the charge in adopting and qualifying metal AM for aerospace and defence
- Increasing production capacity and removing manufacturing bottlenecks for metal components used in high-performance aeronautical systems
Qualification & Certification of Defense AM Parts Track:
- Accelerating the standardisation, qualification, and certification of AM for defence applications to secure the supply chain
- Adapting new, innovative qualification methods for defence AM such as data analytics/AI, simulation/modelling, and in-situ monitoring
- Facilitating the certification of additively manufactured military parts

Additionally, four awards will be presented to individuals or groups that have exemplified outstanding achievement in Additive Manufacturing in support of Department of Defense (DoD) mission priorities.
