Zenith Tecnica, a contract manufacturer based in Auckland, New Zealand, has taken delivery of two Colibrium Additive Q20plus Electron Beam Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-EB) machines, bringing its total fleet to seven machines dedicated to titanium Additive Manufacturing.

The company reports that builds are already scheduled for both machines, but both machines must complete qualification before entering production. No timeframe for completing qualification has been disclosed.

The expansion will increase Zenith Tecnica’s manufacturing capacity, supporting its production of titanium components for the aerospace, medical and other high-performance engineering sectors.

The investment follows the company’s acquisition by new owners in June 2026, when plans were announced to expand its metal AM capabilities and relocate to larger premises.
