ZARE acquires majority stake in AM dental company Proxera

ZARE srl, Boretto, Italy, which merged with BEAMIT SpA in 2020 to become the BEAMIT Group, has acquired a majority stake in Proxera®, an Additive Manufacturing company that specialises in producing highly-advanced dental applications.
ZARE explains that the Proxera brand will play a pivotal role in applications for the wider medical sector thanks to a fully integrated AM value chain, overseeing every stage from the sourcing of the metal powders to the most advanced post-processing and surface finishes.
Proxera will operate as an independent company, controlled by ZARE. The company is fully equipped with production lines that satisfy the demands of the medical sector and meet all the strict criteria applied to products for the medical implant market.
