Meltio, based in Linares, Spain, has announced a strategic partnership with Welding Alloys Group, headquartered in Barnsley, UK. Through the partnership, Welding Alloys Group will act as Meltio’s official materials partner for hardfacing and cladding globally.

With over 50 years of experience, Welding Alloys Group is internationally recognised for designing and producing an extensive range of cored welding wires for hardfacing, cladding, and joining applications. In this partnership, Welding Alloys’ specially developed cored wires for laser applications will complement Meltio’s existing materials portfolio, supporting the development of tailored materials that meet the specific requirements of laser wire cladding and hardfacing.
