Nikon SLM Solutions AG, based in Lübeck, Germany, has announced that Veeco, Plainview, New York, USA, has acquired a NXG XII 600 machine. This acquisition is said to mark a significant step forward in Veeco’s commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology for demanding applications.

Veeco, known for developing advanced semiconductor solutions, chose Nikon SLM Solutions’ NXG XII 600 to produce high-performance components such as gas delivery systems, manifolds and heat exchangers, which are critical elements in semiconductor manufacturing.

The NXG XII 600 is able to create intricate designs that are impossible to replicate with traditional manufacturing methods. This has allowed Veeco to integrate enabling features into their components, further pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in manufacturing.
