VDL ETG, located in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, has purchased a MetalFABG2 Laser Beam Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-LB) Additive Manufacturing machine from Additive Industries.

“Partnering with VDL ETG and seeing them swiftly integrate the MetalFABG2 into their processes has been an affirmation of our shared vision for innovative manufacturing,” stated Mark Massey, Chief Executive Officer at Additive Industries. “We are excited about the transformative impact this will have in the mechatronics domain.”

The MetalFAB system can be customised with various optional modules to enhance efficiency and automation. The MetalFABG2, specifically designed for sectors like aerospace, high tech, energy, and automotive, offers continuous production through automation, resulting in cost reduction.
