ValCUN, headquartered in Ghent, Belgium, recently held an open day, opening the doors of its new facility to an audience of industry professionals, partners, and technology enthusiasts. The event – co-created by the 3DoP consortium, a European funded project that aims to empower SME’s in Additive Manufacturing – allowed attendees to explore ValCUN’s metal AM technology & its place in the industry, engage with experts, and witness live demonstrations.

The event began with an opening speech by Sofie Bracke, a government official from Ghent, followed by a welcome from ValCUN’s founders Jonas Galle and Jan De Pauw. Guests were taken on guided tours of the facility, where they witnessed live Additive Manufacturing demonstrations showcasing the power and potential of ValCUN’s deployable technology.
