April 3, 2025

ULT, headquartered in Löbau, Germany, has launched the LAS 260.1 MD.14 laser fume extraction unit. In addition to quiet operation and minimal energy consumption, the extraction system is noted by the company as a flexible solution for occupational, process, and product protection in various industries. The machine is suitable for a wide variety of laser processes of different materials, including metal and plastic.
The MD.14 EC fan enables high airflow and, combined with the ULT’s energy saving technology, is reported to reduce power consumption by up to 60% compared to other fan types.
High separation efficiency is ensured by a multi-stage filter system consisting of a pre-filter, HEPA filter, and activated carbon filter. Customisable communication interfaces are available for external communication with laser systems from a wide range of manufacturers.
A comprehensive range of accessories is available for the new LAS 260.1 MD.14, including various hose and adapter sets, extraction arms, and additional post-filters for cleanroom installation or noise reduction.
