TP Tools OY, a family-owned business based in Nokia, Finland, has announced the acquisition of AddUp’s FormUp 350 Laser Beam Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-LB) Additive Manufacturing machine. This strategic move aims is intended to make TP Tools a leader in producing tyre sipes, a crucial part of tyre mould manufacturing.

TP Tools’ decision to bring tyre sipe production in-house is aimed at reducing costs associated with outsourcing. By streamlining the manufacturing process, the company saves on expenses as well as shortening lead times, enhancing overall operational efficiency.
