Tekna secures plasma machines and material orders totalling CA$6.3 million

Tekna Holding AS, headquartered in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, has received two machine orders worth a reported CA$2.0 million from customers in the United States. The company also announced a materials order intake of CA$4.3 million.
The first order is for Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. The ICPT-15 machine will be used to support testing and evaluation of materials. Delivery is expected in Q2 2026.
The second order, placed by an undisclosed US-based customer, is for a Teksphero-15, which will be used to produce refractory metal powders. Delivery is scheduled for Q3 2026.
“We have observed some renewed interest for our advanced systems and the versatility of our solutions across both testing and production environments,” stated Claude Jean, CEO of Tekna. ”The Materials order intake is also picking up a good pace this quarter.”
Tekna’s proprietary plasma atomisation machines are well-suited to research into advanced materials, offering various configurations designed to meet the needs of a range of industries and academic research sectors.
