3D Ever brings Additive Manufacturing to REPMUS 2026

3D Ever, Marinha Grande, Portugal, announced it is taking part in REPMUS 2026 at the invitation of the Portuguese Navy. The exercise runs from August 31 to September 25 in Troia, Sesimbra and Portuguese exercise areas.
The company is participating in partnership with the Portuguese Navy’s Unmanned Systems Operational Experimentation and Innovation Cell (CEOV) to demonstrate the use of Additive Manufacturing in demanding environments.

Operating from a container dedicated to Additive Manufacturing, 3D Ever is using metal Laser Beam Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-LB), as well technologies for the production of polymer components.
Additive Manufacturing support during REPMUS
Throughout REPMUS 2026, the 3D Ever team is participating in the exercises, producing parts required for activities and providing training and technical support. The company aims to address development, maintenance and production requirements using digital files, a range of materials and the ability of Additive Manufacturing to manufacture complex geometries.

REPMUS provides an opportunity to assess Additive Manufacturing outside a conventional manufacturing or laboratory setting. Participation in the exercises and the provision of technical support enable the technologies to be applied to specific requirements and their suitability assessed in situations where speed, autonomy and flexibility are important.

The exercise also gives 3D Ever an opportunity to develop its understanding of challenges in the defence sector and to examine how manufacturing technologies and technical expertise can be applied to needs identified in this type of environment.
REPMUS 2026
Organised by the Portuguese Navy in collaboration with national and international organisations, REPMUS 2026 brings together more than 1,500 participants from thirty-six navies, more than sixty research and development companies, thirteen universities and five NATO entities. More than 300 unmanned maritime systems are involved, supported by fourteen ships.
Over several weeks, the exercise tests and evaluates technologies and concepts in an operational environment, bringing together armed forces, industry, academia and international organisations. 3D Ever’s participation introduces Additive Manufacturing technologies into these activities.
