Ultrasonic depowdering for medical applications

Ultrasonic depowdering can be beneficial for delicate medical components such as spinal cages. According to the company, this method ensures a gentle yet effective cleaning process, removing residual powder from complex geometries without compromising the structural integrity or surface quality of the component.

As medical applications demand high standards of precision and care, ultrasonic depowdering offers a reliable and material-friendly solution, making it particularly well-suited for sensitive implants. This technology will also be demonstrated at Solukon’s booth, where titanium spinal cages will be processed inside the system.

For larger AM parts manufactured on an EOS M4 ONYX, Solukon offers larger depowdering systems, such as the SFM-AT800-S and SFM-AT1000-S.

Those interested can visit Solukon at booth 1435. Solukon is offering free tickets here or with the code: 16522577.
