Software company nTopology, New York City, USA, has launched its nTopEd competition to identify problems that can be solved with the help of nTopology, be they conceptual or already-realised manufactured parts.

The competition is open to individuals or teams who are current or former members of nTopEd, current students or those whose studies will be completed after January 2020. For those whose license for the nTopology platform has expired, the company is offering an EDU license, valid until the event, through its website.

nTopology is calling for submissions of use cases from the following categories: Product Design, Transportation, and Sports and Materials, although abstracts which aren’t aligned to any of the aforementioned will also be considered. Submissions may be of existing or new work.

Winners will be chosen based on the presentation, innovation and potential impact and their use of nTopology within their abstract. They will receive $1000 and a fifteen-minute presentation slot during the company’s first thought-leadership event, to be held online in May 2021, enabling exposure to a global audience.

The submission deadline is April 2, 2021.

Further information and submission guidelines are available via the company website.
