Magnitude Innovations Inc., a product development and technical consultancy based in Des Plaines, Illinois, USA, has announced the release of Uptimo, a new software application said to increase the profitability of any metal Additive Manufacturing production process. Uptimo’s proprietary algorithms analyse easily available production data and provide instant feedback of the AM systems and operations through predictive performance analytics.

Uptimo reportedly uses standard production and scheduling data to assess the performance of a machine over a single project or a series of projects. The process analysis is split into four main Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) which identify where and how waste is being created, define preventative measures and train the organisation towards reaching optimal performance.

The fully customised software is designed to help organisations improve their machine planning, build layout and parameter optimisation, as well as any other aspect of their AM processes that impacts the costs and quality of the final products.

Magnitude will be attending this year’s AMUG conference in Chicago, Illinois from March 31st to April 4th 2019, where the founder and CEO Maciej Tusz will be on hand to showcase the different features of the new application.
