Kymera International, a specialty materials company headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA, has appointed Willson Ropp as Chief Executive Officer, effective June 15, 2026.

Ropp brings more than thirty years of leadership experience in the specialty materials, industrial minerals and chemicals sectors. Prior to joining Kymera, he served as Chairman and CEO of Prince International, where he oversaw the company’s expansion through organic growth and the integration of twenty acquisitions.

According to Kymera, Ropp’s experience aligns with the company’s strategic priorities, including safety, operational excellence, customer success and long-term growth.

George Biltz, Chair of Kymera’s Board of Directors, stated, “Willson’s proven ability to lead high-performing manufacturing organisations, integrate businesses and drive sustainable growth makes him exceptionally well-suited to lead Kymera into its next chapter. His experience in specialty materials and global industrial markets aligns directly with Kymera’s opportunities and long-term strategy.”

As CEO, Ropp will lead Kymera’s global strategy, with a focus on operational excellence, innovation, customer relationships and long-term business performance.

“Kymera has a strong technical foundation, a global manufacturing footprint and a talented team serving customers across highly specialised and demanding markets,” explained Ropp. “I am honoured to join the organisation and look forward to working with the team to build on Kymera’s strengths, deepen customer and partner relationships, and advance the company’s next phase of growth.”

Kymera also acknowledged the contribution of former Chief Executive Officer Barton White, who led the business for twenty-one years. During his tenure, White oversaw the company’s development into a global specialty materials manufacturer. He will remain a member of Kymera’s Board of Directors, where he will continue to provide strategic guidance.
