Hexagon AB’s Manufacturing Intelligence Stationary Metrology Division, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, has launched PC-DMIS Fusion. This provides users of the software with real-time information, visualisation, insights and SPC analysis to support productivity based on data-driven decision making.

“Modern manufacturers need to know if they’re making good parts. PC-DMIS Fusion modernises analytics and reporting with a simple, intuitive interface, interactive reporting, and fast access to historical data,” stated Greg Holdsworth, Senior Portfolio Manager at Hexagon. “Seamlessly integrated with PC-DMIS, it delivers real-time measurement information, visualisation, and SPC analysis, all to increase productivity and support data-driven decisions.”

Connecting devices and automating workflows

PC-DMIS Fusion streamlines data collection, reporting, and analysis, enabling predictive quality management. Users can automate repetitive tasks, receive immediate alarms when deviations occur, and monitor part quality continuously without adding complexity to the workflow.

Fusion + Maestro

PC-DMIS Fusion pairs with Maestro, Hexagon’s all-digital, fully connected CMM and digitally connected IIoT device, to create an automated metrology ecosystem. Maestro streams precise measurement data in real time, while Fusion interprets trends, automates SPC and reporting.

Together, Maestro and Fusion support virtual metrology and model-based manufacturing, measuring digitally, linking results to 3D models, and spotting issues as they occur. This IIoT-enabled combination delivers seamless connectivity, automation, and faster decision-making on the shop floor.
