Software provider CADS Additive GmbH, Perg, Austria, has named Swedish group Hexagon as a distribution partner in over 100 countries. Through this partnership, Hexagon anticipates the ability to better meet its customers’ Additive Manufacturing requirements. This reseller agreement follows on from previous collaboration wherein Simufact Additive algorithms are integrated into software solutions from CADS.

Adapted to the Laser Beam Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-LB) Additive Manufacturing process, CADS Additive’s AM-Studio guides users step by step through data preparation.

“Adding AM-Studio to the Hexagon Additive Manufacturing ecosystem gives our customers access to an end-to-end Additive Manufacturing portfolio within metal powder bed fusion technology,” stated Mathieu Pérennou, Director Additive Manufacturing Solutions, Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence.
