GROB’s GMP300 liquid metal printing on show at EMO 2025

GROB, based in Mindelheim, Germany, is showcasing its expanded service portfolio, including its GMP300 liquid metal printing (LMP) Additive Manufacturing machine, at EMO Hanover, September 22-26, 2025.

“We want to provide our customers with a spare parts strategy that is tailored precisely to their requirements – flexible, economical, and reliable,” explained Martin Schilling, Head of Service at GROB.
The company is particularly highlighting the express production and delivery of critical spare parts, which can minimise downtime in emergency situations. This is supported by the GROB4Care web shop, which offers users access to over two million spare parts and interactive drawings and parts lists.

From Hall 12, Booth B26, GROB will present selected spare parts, offer live tests of GROB4Care and its digital learning platform GROB Campus, and demonstrate its GMP300 Additive Manufacturing machine.
“The GMP300 opens up new possibilities for the economical production of aluminium components from a quantity of one,” stated Christoph de Pay, Product Manager for Additive Manufacturing at GROB. “Our unique technology combines the advantages of Additive Manufacturing with the requirements of industrial series production.”
Using aluminium wire feedstock rather than powder, the GMP300 is intended for use in sectors such as automotive, aerospace, mechanical engineering and automation technology. These sectors demand shorter development times and increased cost and resource efficiency.
