The customer will reportedly use the machine to accelerate applied research and development efforts, particularly in prototyping and the advancement of metal alloys. The Freemelt ONE’s open architecture allows for extensive process customisation, fostering innovation and flexibility.

Freemelt has several Freemelt ONE machines in operation at German universities and research institutes. This marks the first machine ordered by a German industrial user. Given that the German industry is one of the largest globally, this order is important for Freemelt as it underscores the relevance of the company’s technology for high-performance applications.
