America Makes' Members Meeting & Exchange set for October

America Makes, the USA’s national accelerator for Additive Manufacturing, driven by the National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining (NCDMM), will hold its Members Meeting & Exchange (MMX) at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown, Ohio, October 22–23, 2019. 

Open to members and non-members, the MMX is designed to offer insight into the organisation’s AM project progress, roadmap development and institute strategy. The agenda includes a number of talks from industry speakers including Dr Bernard Goodly, US Army, Josh Cramer, NCDMM/America Makes, Blake Marshall, DoE, and speakers from Open Additive and GE Research.

Also held during the event will be panel discussions from America Makes Satellite Centers, Women in Additive Manufacturing, a Small Business Panel and a Standards Panel, as well as a range of project update sessions. A networking reception will be held on October 22 at Youngstown’s Historical Center of Industry & Labor, offering hors d’oeurves and beverages, as well as open tours of the centre. 

 On October 24, an optional Design for AM Course for Managers and Executives will be run by Wohlers Associates, Inc. Registration for this event is separate.
