AM 4 AM, a producer of metal powders for Additive Manufacturing based in Foetz, Luxembourg, has acquired a BOLDseries from One Click Metal, Tamm, Germany, through reseller Multistation. This purchase follows AM 4 AM’s recent successful seed funding round of €1.3 million, with which the company intended to expand its processes and materials portfolios. To test powders under development, AM 4 AM sought a Laser Beam Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-LB) Additive Manufacturing machine.

The BOLDseries is a compact, flexible PBF-LB (referred to by One Click Metal as MPRINT) solution with a depowdering and sieving station (MPURE). The equipment is expected to enhance AM 4 AM’s ability to optimise material properties while reducing material consumption, allwoing it to develop efficient new metal powders that meet stringent quality standards.

“Acquiring the BOLDseries from One Click Metal represents a significant milestone for AM 4 AM and Multistation played a significant role in this acquisition by driving us into the best solution for our powder development activities,” stated Maxime Delmée, co-founder and CEO of AM 4 AM. “Indeed, the lab module provided with our equipment is particularly well adapted to perform several iterations for materials development. It will allow us to efficiently define the best materials composition while consuming a low amount of resources. This acquisition reinforces our commitment to integrating cutting-edge technology into our operations, enabling us to be competitive in the Additive Manufacturing landscape.”
