AIDIMME expands metal AM and powder development capabilities

AIDIMME, based in Valencia, Spain, has expanded its metal Additive Manufacturing and materials development capabilities, which it will showcase at Formnext 2026, taking place from 17 to 20 November in Frankfurt, Germany
The non-profit research centre will present three technological developments aimed at expanding its capabilities in advanced Additive Manufacturing and materials development.
The developments include green-laser Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-LB) capabilities, enabling the processing of highly reflective materials, such as copper and its alloys, for the manufacture of large-scale components on machines equipped with in-situ process monitoring.

AIDIMME will also showcase its reported advancements in Electron Beam Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-EB), aimed at developing materials for high-temperature applications and manufacturing large-scale titanium components.
Formnext will also see the company present the introduction of a laboratory atomiser intended to enable the research and development of new metal powders for industrial applications.
