Additive Assurance launches AMiRIS-LF for quality assurance in large-format Additive Manufacturing machines

Additive Assurance, based in Melbourne, Australia, has launched the AMiRIS-LF, an updated version of the company’s Additive Manufacturing process monitoring solution.

The AMiRIS-LF is specifically designed for large-format Laser Beam Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-LB) machines with platforms of 400 mm or larger. This system extends Additive Assurance’s unique process monitoring and quality assurance solutions to larger production systems, primarily focusing on aerospace, defence, and energy applications.

Beyond AMiRIS-LF, the company has successfully expanded the scope of its standard AMiRIS solution, initially launched in 2021, to supports eight different PBF-LB machine types.
