qualloy to distribute Aheadd CP1 alloy powder across Europe

qualloy, based in Düsseldorf, Germany, has signed a distribution agreement with Constellium, headquartered in Paris, France, to supply Aheadd CP1 aluminium alloy powder developed for Additive Manufacturing to customers across Europe. Under the agreement, the material will be available through qualloy’s online marketplace and webshop.

Aheadd CP1 will be stocked in Germany from August, enabling short lead times for customers across Europe. qualloy will work with Rosswag Engineering, which provides expertise in powder handling, material qualification, Additive Manufacturing processing and application development.
According to the companies, the agreement provides customers with local stock availability in Germany, competitive pricing, short delivery times across Europe and access to technical support. The partnership also supports Constellium’s strategy of making Aheadd CP1 more widely available through qualified distribution partners.

Aheadd CP1 is an aluminium-iron-zirconium alloy powder developed specifically for Additive Manufacturing. The alloy contains no volatile elements, rare earth elements, silicon or ceramic particle additions. According to Constellium, Aheadd CP1 offers a combination of high strength and ductility, good thermal and electrical conductivity, high processing productivity and simplified post-processing.
The agreement expands qualloy’s portfolio of metal powders for Additive Manufacturing and broadens access to Aheadd CP1 for European users.
