Concurrent Technologies appoints Christopher J Hamilton as CEO
Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC), Johnstown, Pennsylvania, USA, has announced the appointment of Christopher J Hamilton as president and Chief Executive Officer, effective June 29, 2026. He succeeds Edward J Sheehan Jr upon his retirement.
Hamilton was selected following a national search conducted by CTC’s Board of Directors. According to the company, the Board sought a leader capable of building on CTC’s existing strengths while supporting future growth and innovation in response to complex customer requirements.

Hamilton has more than thirty years of experience across industry, small businesses and academic research organisations. Most recently, he led an advanced technology group at Parsons Corporation focused on developing solutions to protect personnel and critical infrastructure from emerging threats. He also oversaw the development of a counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS) programme, including the establishment of the company’s C-UAS Center of Excellence in West Virginia.
Previously, Hamilton served as president and Chief Operating Officer of CMX Technologies, Deputy Director of a major research division at Georgetown University, and Vice President of Advanced Development Programs at Titan Corporation.
A Distinguished Military Graduate of Hofstra University, New York, Hamilton is a former US Army intelligence officer. During his military career, he held a range of command and staff positions, as well as national intelligence assignments with the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and National Reconnaissance Office (NRO).
Hamilton currently serves on the Board of Advisors for the Honors College at Hofstra University.
