The European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) has shortlisted thirteen entries for its 2026 Powder Metallurgy Innovation Awards across four categories.

For 2026, the EPMA broadened its awards programme beyond components, with entries now recognised across four categories:

  • Component – components manufactured using PM processes, including press and sinter, Additive Manufacturing, MIM, HIP and FAST/SPS
  • Materials – new or improved materials developed for PM processes, including hard and superhard materials, functional materials and other advanced PM materials
  • Process – process implementations intended to improve cost, quality, sustainability or manufacturing performance
  • Equipment – equipment designed and developed specifically for the PM industry

The shortlisted entries will be presented during a dedicated PM Forum session in the exhibition area on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 10:40–12:10. The four category winners will each give a ten-minute presentation, while the other nine shortlisted entries will be featured in five-minute Spotlight presentations.
