MADIT invests in two Solukon AT350 units for AM depowdering

MADIT, a provider of metal Additive Manufacturing and post-processing solutions headquartered in Zamudio, Spain, has incorporated two AT350 machines from Solukon, based in Augsburg, Germany, to automate and standardise the depowdering process of its metal additively manufactured parts. This strategic investment was carried out with the support of Excelencia Tech Metal, the official Solukon distributor (Certified Solukon Partner) in Iberia, who assisted MADIT throughout the equipment selection and acquisition process.
The AT350 machines are expected to increase post-processing safety and repeatability, reduce labour time and costs, streamline cleaning of complex parts (including internal cavities), ensure higher quality and reliability in final parts, and scale metal AM processes to meet industry standards.

Additionally, the machines will be especially key and useful for MADIT’s heat exchanger projects, where the complex internal geometry of the parts makes it difficult to extract dust and manual post-processing limits the efficiency and repeatability of the process.
