Saturne Technology adds further Solukon SFM-AT1500-S for large parts

Solukon, based in Augsburg, Germany, has announced that Saturne Technology, Contern, France, has purchased a further Solukon depowdering machine. The company will use the new SFM-AT1500-S to post-process ultra-large parts.

The SFM-AT1500-S provides a safe and efficient environment for depowdering Saturne’s 1,600 mm tall components. The parts’ complex geometries will be depowdered fully automatically with a component-specific formula calculated by SPR-Pathfinder.

Solukon is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary at Formnext at booth 12.0, D71.
The company is presenting a special edition of its anniversary machine, the SFM-AT800-S, an exclusive variant that showcases automated part transport and depowdering, combined with robotic finishing. Presented in collaboration with its technology partners, Grenzebach and Yaskawa, this innovation marks a significant step toward even greater efficiency and automation in depowdering and post-processing workflows.
The SFM-AT350-E will also be on display. The E-version enables gentle and silent depowdering with ultrasonic excitation, making it suitable for delicate geometries. Thanks to its adapted arm design, the SFM-AT350/-E can accommodate parts weighing up to 100 kg, as well as plates of the flagship printers EOS M 400 and Nikon SLM 500.
