6K Additive, a division of 6K, based in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, USA, has reported record second-quarter revenue of $7.1 million for the period ended June 30, 2026, driven by continued growth across its Powder and Alloy businesses and increasing demand from the aerospace, defence and industrial sectors.

Revenue increased 63% compared with the second quarter of 2025 and 14% over the previous quarter. Powder sales were reported at $5.0 million, while the Alloy business contributed $2.1 million. The company ended the quarter with $22.1 million in cash and a backlog of $11.9 million, up 23% from the previous quarter.

During the quarter, 6K Additive continued work on the expansion of its headquarters and manufacturing campus in Burgettstown. Major construction contracts have been awarded, the primary production furnace has been ordered, and upgrades to the site’s electrical infrastructure are under way. The company expects the expanded facility to begin production by the end of 2026, increasing annual production capacity from 1,600 to more than 6,000 metric tonnes across its product range.

The company also secured a further $1.9 million Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase II contract from the US Defense Logistics Agency, bringing the total value of the eighteen-month programme to $3.9 million. The project supports domestic production of titanium, tungsten, niobium and nickel powders for defence and industrial applications.

Operationally, 6K Additive appointed Brandon Davis as Chief Operating Officer and reported no lost-time incidents during the quarter. The company also launched its Mission Zero safety programme as it prepares for the next phase of its manufacturing expansion.

“The second quarter of 2026 demonstrated continued execution across the business, highlighted by record quarterly revenue, strong order intake, and expanding customer demand across our advanced materials portfolio,” stated Frank Roberts, CEO. “While we are pleased with the operational and commercial progress achieved during the quarter, we believe the more significant story is the strategic position 6K Additive is building for the years ahead.”

He continued, “The United States is entering a sustained period of investment in defence, advanced manufacturing, and supply chain resilience. As government and industry increasingly prioritise secure, domestic sources of critical materials, the reshoring of strategic manufacturing is creating a structural demand tailwind that extends well beyond traditional market cycles. We believe 6K Additive is uniquely positioned to benefit from these trends through our domestic production capabilities, qualified aerospace and defence materials, and expanding portfolio of critical metal powders.”
