University of Louisville to host 3D Printing Business Incubator Workshop and Venture Day Event

April 13, 2017

The University of Louisville (UofL) will host a 3D Printing Business Incubator Workshop and Venture Day event at the UL Additive Manufacturing Competency Centre in Louisville, Kentucky, USA, on Wednesday, April 19th, 2017.

The workshop will showcase the collaborative work of the university’s design engineers and researchers, as well as the industrial and entrepreneurial mentors who have contributed to the creation of new businesses and products using Additive Manufacturing, state the organisers. The event will feature five interactive panels, followed by a poster session and reception to meet UofL’s startup teams.

The UofL 3D Printing Business Incubator houses nearly 100 design engineers from the university’s Mechanical Engineering Department, and its startup teams have received funding from the National Science Foundation Innovation Corps programme.

For additional information, prospective attendees to the event can visit the incubator website or contact Dr Sundar V. Atre, Endowed Chair of Manufacturing & Materials, University of Louisville: [email protected].
