Titomic Limited, based in Brisbane, Australia, has announced the sale of two D523 low-pressure Cold Spray Additive Manufacturing machines, one to a company based in Kalgoorlie, Australia, and the other to a company in Texas, USA. The sales, totalling AUS $198,829, are said to represent a significant milestone for Titomic as it expands into new markets.

The sale in Australia signifies a strategic entry into the mining services industry in this region – a potentially crucial development considering the robust and growing mining sector in Western Australia. It demonstrates the adaptability and mobility of the Cold Spray AM machine for the demands of the mining servicing industry, a sector known for its stringent requirements for durability and efficiency.

The D523’s no-heat repair capability and rapid restoration feature for metal parts make it well suited to the mining industry. The ability to repair and restore metal components without high-temperature treatments preserves the integrity of critical mining equipment and significantly prolongs its lifespan. This feature is invaluable in the mining sector, where equipment downtime can have substantial financial implications.

In total, over 133 Cold Spray Additive Manufacturing machines from Titomic are currently in operation, mostly in Europe.

The Texas sale marks the first to be facilitated by Anywise America since joining forces with Titomic as a reseller. This successful transaction followed an on-site demonstration, and is expected to expand Titomic’s reach in the American market.

“The successful sale of our D523 systems in Western Australia and Texas marks a significant stride in our strategic plan to enhance our footprint in essential industries,” stated Herbert Koeck, Managing Director of Titomic. “These transactions not only reflect our unwavering commitment to addressing the dynamic needs of these sectors but also showcase the strength and versatility of our advanced technological solutions. The accomplishment achieved by Anywise America is a testament to our strategic alignment and underlines the adaptability and relevance of our technology across diverse regional markets. As we move forward, we are excited to continue championing the growth and efficiency of industries, particularly in mining, through our innovative and transformative manufacturing technologies.”
