SelectAM has introduced an end-to-end workflow that it reports covers the entire Additive Manufacturing process, from identifying suitable AM designs to delivering the final parts. This AI-powered platform is now available as a free open-access version, enabling users to analyse numerous CAD and part-related data to identify and order AM parts.

The software provides instant price quotes and lead times for both individual parts and assemblies. Additionally, users can quickly assess the total cost of ownership (TCO) by including calculations for conventional manufacturing, estimate potential savings with AM, conduct mesh integrity checks, and evaluate the overall quality of input data.

The premium version, which is available through a subscription, offers users access to expert features. With this version, users can set up their own AM machine and material portfolio, simulate and visualise nesting and slicing processes for various AM technologies, calculate precise production costs and times, demonstrate the redesign potential of individual parts and assemblies, and identify the most suitable AM technology for uploaded parts. Additionally, this software can generate internal AM price quotes based on quotation margins. All steps and settings can be customised to optimise results, which can then be used to order or export identified and qualified parts.
