In a recent video posted to LinkedIn, Nikon SLM Solutions CEO Sam O’Leary outlined the company’s 2024 growth.

“We’ve been relentless and laser focused in pushing the art of what’s possible in metal Additive Manufacturing, and that has allowed us to once again deliver strong results,” O’Leary stated.

The company reported a €150 million revenue in 2024, representing a 36% revenue growth from 2023. This was attributed to the company’s technological developments and industry demand, including the decision to expand production of the NXG XII 600 Additive Manufacturing machine to the US, thereby bolstering the supply and domestic support.

To further expand the company’s footprint, Nikon SLM Solutions has also established the Nikon Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center in Long Beach, California. The approximately 8,400 m2 facility is expected to serve as a hub for innovation, combining Nikon, Nikon SLM Solutions, and Nikon AM Synergy Inc.

The company also opened a Nikon Additive Manufacturing Technology Center in Japan. The 922 m2 facility was unveiled to invited guests at a Grand Opening ceremony in February, 2025. As with the California location, the facility in Japan brings together the Nikon AM portfolio. The centre is similarly equipped with the ultra-large format NXG XII 600 Laser Beam Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-LB) Additive Manufacturing machine from Nikon SLM Solutions AG, reportedly the first of its kind in Japan.
