Ipsen USA reports strong end to its fiscal year with multiple furnace shipments

Ipsen USA, Cherry Valley, Illinois, USA, has reported a strong close to its financial year 2017. The company stated that it shipped fifteen furnaces in its fourth quarter 2017 to customers in eight US states, as well as in Asia and Europe, to serve the Additive Manufacturing, aerospace, commercial heat treating, medical and Metal Injection Moulding industries.

The reported shipments included nine TITAN® vacuum furnaces, including three TITAN DS (debinding and sintering) units, two LT (low temperature) units and a number of H2 and H6-sized furnaces. Also shipped were three horizontal MetalMaster® vacuum furnaces, two horizontal TurboTreater® furnaces and one vacuum aluminium brazing furnace for the aerospace industry.

In addition, several customers were reported to have opted Ipsen’s support offerings such as Ipsen U training, spare parts kits, installation and start-up assistance. Some of the furnaces sold were shipped to repeat customers and one customer placed two furnace orders.
