Freemelt-Americas joins Georgia Tech Manufacturing 4.0 Consortium

Freemelt-Americas, Inc, a subsidiary of Freemelt, headquartered in Mölndal, Sweden, has signed a Membership Agreement with the Georgia Tech Manufacturing 4.0 Consortium, Atlanta, Georgia, USA. The consortium looks to drive the development of innovative manufacturing technologies and accelerate the adoption of Additive Manufacturing in North America.
The Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) has extensive experience in the research of advanced and Additive Manufacturing technologies supported by the US government, industry, and the education system. Georgia Tech facilitates a wide range of AM technologies and has utilised a Freemelt ONE 6 kW Electron Beam Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-EB) AM machine since 2022.
Georgia Tech Manufacturing 4.0 Consortium is a membership-based consortium that brings together industry, academia, and government to develop and deploy advanced manufacturing technologies, to foster innovation and strengthen the competitiveness of the American industry.
