Würth Additive CEO joins 3D Printing in Auto Collision Task Force
Würth Additive Group, a Würth Industry North America company, has reported that its CEO, A J Strandquist, will be joining the 3D Printing in Auto Collision Task Force. The news was announced at the International Bodyshop Industry Symposium (IBIS) Global Summit 2023 held in Milan, Italy, June 28-30.

IBIS Worldwide announced the launch of the 3D Printing in Auto Repair Task Force during the International Bodyshop Industry Symposium USA 2023 trade conference held in Nashville, Tennessee, this April. By joining the task force and collaborating with the other members, Würth Additive Group reportedly seeks to advance the adoption of Additive Manufacturing and revolutionise the collision repair processes, enabling the use of additively manufactured parts via Würth’s advanced digital inventory management program DIS3DP.
Additive Manufacturing could allow collision repair professionals produce complex parts on demand, reduce lead times, and enhance repair accuracy. The transition to additively manufactured parts could minimise waste, streamline inventory management, and contribute to a more sustainable automotive repair ecosystem.
