ATLIX, Schio, Italy, has introduced a new visual identity and product naming architecture for its Additive Manufacturing machines. From September 1, all new machine orders will be delivered with the updated ATLIX branding, including new product names and machine graphics.

The portfolio will use the name xBUILD, replacing the previous TruPrint name. The naming links the machines to ATLIX’s wider xWORLD ecosystem, with the ‘x’ representing a combination of expertise, technology and application. ATLIX states that ‘BUILD’ refers to the machines’ role in production, with a focus on part quality, scalability and reducing cost per part across a range of industries.

The changes also include a new visual design for the machines. A redesigned graphic panel covers the build chamber and incorporates ATLIX’s brand identity, with the ‘x’ used as a prominent visual element.

The portfolio comprises four machines for different production requirements. Although their names and visual identity have changed, ATLIX states that the machines are technically unchanged and retain the same performance, quality and reliability:

  • xBUILD 1000 – A compact metal Additive Manufacturing machine designed for part quality and high precision
  • xBUILD 2000 – Designed to combine build quality, efficiency and reliability for consistent results
  • xBUILD 3000 – Designed for metal Additive Manufacturing, with full-field multilaser capability, enhanced performance and versatile operation
  • xBUILD 5000 – Designed for large, critical parts; high-volume production; industrial serial production and large-format builds

“Since the launch of ATLIX, we have had a very positive year, with strong customer confidence and growing interest in our company and our international vision for industrialising Additive Manufacturing,” stated Marino Ferrarese, Head of Sales and Marketing at ATLIX. “The new product names and visual identity reflect the evolution of ATLIX as a company. We are increasingly recognised for the reliability and quality of our products, and we are now focused on expanding into new markets and strengthening our international presence.

“The coming months will be an important period for ATLIX, with several developments already underway. We have a lot of work ahead of us and many new things that we cannot wait to present at Formnext,” Ferrarese added.

The xBUILD portfolio gives ATLIX’s machine range a unified product identity and forms part of the company’s wider offering of production machines, peripherals, expertise and customer support.

ATLIX plans to present the new identity and xBUILD portfolio at upcoming trade shows, including IMTS in Chicago, Illinois, USA, and Formnext in Frankfurt, Germany.
