Tianhai Intelligent launches TH-115 and TH-350 metal Additive Manufacturing machines
Hunan Tianhai Intelligent Machinery Co., Ltd, based in Hunan, China, announced the TH-115 and TH-350 metal Additive Manufacturing machines at a launch event in Xiangtan High-tech Zone on October 28.
The compact TH-115 has a build volume of 115 x 115 x 115 mm and incorporates a 300 W laser. The Laser Beam Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-LB) machine is aimed at a range of applications, including aerospace components, dentistry, jewellery and biomedical implants.
The TH-350, meanwhile, is positioned as an industrial-grade general-purpose metal Additive Manufacturing machine. It targets solutions for consumer electronics, aerospace, medical devices, and automotive precision parts. The TH-350 offers a build volume of 360 x 360 × 398 mm and uses a 500 W laser.
According to the company, both machines have been developed in-house, including their mechanical design, precision machining, assembly, control software and slicing software.
In addition to the newly launched models, the company also offers the larger THZN-J600 metal AM machine. This model includes a build area of 630 x 630 x 630 mm and incorporates four 500 W lasers. The THZN-J600 is specified for processing titanium alloys, aluminium alloys, high-temperature alloys, stainless steel and tool steels.
