Toolcraft AG, based in Georgensgmünd, Germany, is expanding its metal Additive Manufacturing capacity with the addition of an FS722 Laser Beam Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-LB) machine from Farsoon, Changsha, China.

The FS722 has a build volume of 720 × 420 × 650 mm and is equipped with eight 1 kW lasers. Toolcraft stated that it is using the new machine to process AlSi10Mg aluminium alloy.

It was added that the investment responds to increasing orders and growing demand for larger components. It also strengthens the existing relationship between the two companies, supporting Toolcraft’s focus on sophisticated components and industrial production.
