3YOURMIND celebrates decade in Additive Manufacturing

3YOURMIND, Berlin, Germany, is celebrating ten years of business. The company, founded in 2014 by Aleksander Ciszek and Stephan Kühr at the Technical University in Berlin, entered the Additive Manufacturing industry when it was primarily focused on prototyping parts. Ciszek and Kühr stated that the company was launched in an effort to provide software solutions that maximise Additive Manufacturing knowledge, allowing customers to analyse part designs to determine whether they could be produced with Additive Manufacturing and, if so, at what cost.
In its initial iteration, 3YOURMIND developed an Uber-inspired marketplace platform that connected consumers with providers offering Additive Manufacturing workflow solutions that address part identification, ordering, and production. In 2018, led by Alexandre Donnadieu, now CCO, 3YOURMIND boldly entered the US market with its enterprise software solutions, quickly gaining customers like Ford Motor Company and the US Navy, NIWC Pacific.
In ten years, 3YOURMIND has made headlines by securing programmes with several organisations within the US Department of Defense. 3YOURMIND software reputedly supports these organisations’ efforts to strengthen supply chains by identifying part candidates and building digital part inventories in anticipation of on-demand manufacturing.
