TEMW Conference on AM of Electrical Machines scheduled for April

The University of Bristol, UK, has announced that the second TEMW Conference on Additive Manufacturing of Electrical Machines will take place at the University of Bristol on April 9, 2026.

TEMW (The Electrical Machine Works) is a UK Research and Innovation project intended to facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration with industry and academia to help keep the UK competitive in the power electronics machines and drives sector.

The 2026 event programme will include presentations on:

- ‘Additive manufacturing of aluminium for electrical applications’ – Sheffield University
- ‘Printing copper smarter: Functional binders for enhanced binder jet performance’ – Atomik AM
- ‘Advanced electrical machine conductor cooling enabled by Additive Manufacturing’ – Lund University
- ‘Advancing electrical machine design through Additive Manufacturing’ – Tallinn University of Technology
- ‘Additive Manufacturing of stator winding for cryogenically cooled axial flux motors’ – University of Bath
