SPEE3D, Melbourne, Australia, has appointed Pierre Devaux as Senior Director, Worldwide Education Sales. Devaux will be leading the company’s efforts for collaborating in the education and academic research space.

Academia has the opportunity to accelerate the adoption of Cold Spray Additive Manufacturing by testing and validating the technology across different materials and applications. At SPEE3D, Devaux has a personal mission to collaborate with academic partners who recognise the benefits of Cold Spray AM such as its openness, flexibility, low operating costs, and speed to expand the reach of the technology. This is considered especially important in remote areas of the world where producing large metal parts may be particularly challenging.
