Space Tech Expo USA postponed until 2021, digital event to run in August

June 1, 2020

Space Tech Expo USA 2020, which was originally scheduled to take place in Long Beach, California, USA, on May 18–20, 2020, has been postponed until May 10–12, 2021. The event had formerly been postponed until August 10–12, 2020.

Space Tech Expo Connect, a new digital event, will now take place in August 2020.

Space Tech Expo’s organisers, Smart Shows Tarsys Ltd, wrote in an official statement, “The Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center has now cancelled all mass-gathering events, up to and including September 2020, triggering the postponement of Space Tech Expo USA 2020.”

“But to underline our commitment to North America’s aerospace sector, and the civil, commercial and military aerospace supply chains, we (Smarter Shows Tarsus Ltd, the people behind Space Tech Expo) are today announcing the launch of Space Tech Expo Connect, a brand-new digital event brand. The inaugural Space Tech Expo Connect digital event will take place in August 2020.”

The statement continued, “Space Tech Expo’s digital event experiences will deliver the same benefits as our traditional face-to-face formats: informing and educating, facilitating business connections and fostering relationships, enabling peer-to-peer conversations and networking, and creating opportunities for aerospace professionals to come together, and collectively identify the latest ideas, technologies, and supply chain solutions.”

More details, including a full programme of digital events running in August 2020 and the participating organisations, will be released in due course. Further information and registration details are available via the event website.u
