Seminar to focus on Zeiss inspection system for Additive Manufacturing
January 22, 2019

A seminar, hosted at the AMRC Knowledge Transfer Centre in Catcliffe, South Yorkshire, UK, on February 21, 2019, will discuss the need for quality inspection systems in the Additive Manufacturing process. Representatives from Zeiss will highlight the company’s 3D ManuFACT, a new integrated inspection process that combines a number of technologies.
One of the greatest challenges for AM in safety-critical areas such as aerospace, medical technology and automotive industries, lies in the verification of the AM part’s absolute reliability. Zeiss 3D ManuFACT offers what is described as an unique holistic inspection process for Additive Manufacturing, drawing on expertise in microscopy, 3D scanning, computed tomography, tactile & optical measurement and accurate data analysis.
The free seminar will include time for interactive discussions and Q&A after each talk, as well as providing the opportunity to network with leading technologists and researchers.
