RM Forum 2025 returns to spotlight innovation and design in Additive Manufacturing

The RM Forum 2025 – Additive Manufacturing Conference & Exhibition will be returning for its 13th edition on October 1–2, 2025, at the Alfa Romeo Museum, Milan, Italy. Organised by PlastDesign and RPD – Rapid Prototyping Development, the event aims to bring together international end-user companies, emerging technologies, software houses and materials suppliers, and key players in digital manufacturing as a strategic hub for the AM industry.

Speakers from organisations such as Avio Aero, Thales Alenia Space, Politecnico di Milano, INFN – Italian National Institute for Nuclear Physics, GENTILINI Power Train, Biosafin, Enovis, Baker Hughes, and NemoLab, will share real-world case studies, highlighting the strategic role of AM in enabling digital transformation and sustainable manufacturing.
The RM Forum 2025 will include both a conference and exhibition. The conference will feature a selection of talks, round tables, and in-depth sessions focused on generative design and functional engineering; development of advanced materials for AM; quality and process control in Additive Manufacturing; post-processing and automation; certification and industrial scalability; as well as sector-specific topics such as aerospace; medical and dental; automotive and racing; oil & gas; and sport and industrial design.

The event will also include two sector-focused round tables:
October 1: Aerospace / Automotive / Oil & Gas – This roundtable will focus on extreme performance, advanced materials, gas turbines, motorsport, and AM supply chain integration.
October 2: Medical Sector – Topics include biofunctionalised polymers, prosthetic customisation, metallurgical research, and Additive Manufacturing applied to biomedical innovation.
The Exhibition Centre will showcase companies and suppliers offering solutions for the entire AM value chain, from materials to machinery, from software to finishing and measurement technologies. Over the two-day event, participants can schedule meetings, join cross-sector round tables and visit the Alfa Romeo Museum.
